PrestaShop Multilingual and Multistore Sitemap Generator – SEO Module

Generate sitemaps of all the urls of your store on a regular basis, in all the languages of your store (multilingual), for all your stores (multistore) and including images. 4 types of sitemaps The Multilingual and Multistore Sitemap Generator is fully-automatic and allows you to create 4 types of sitemaps automatically and on a regular basis: one sitemap that includes all the URLs of your Product pages one sitemap that includes all the URLs of your Category pages one sitemap that includes all the URLs of your CMS pages one sitemap that includes all the URLs of your Manufacturer pages Multilingual sitemaps Our module allows you to create sitemaps in all the languages of your store so that you can easily improve the SEO of your store in several languages. For each type of page (Products, Categories, CMS and Manufacturers), the module generates one sitemap that includes the URLS in all languages, as recommended by Google. Our sitemaps are based on Google official guidelines about the creation of multilingual sitemaps so that you get the best SEO results. Multistore sitemaps This module is compatible with PrestaShop monostore and PrestaShop multistore system. It allows you to easily generate sitemaps for your store(s). The module automatically detects all your stores, you just need to choose in the « General Configuration » section the name of the store for which you want to generate sitemaps, save the configuration and then generate the sitemaps. Please note that the module generate different sitemaps per store, each store has its 4 own sitemaps (Products, Categories, CMS and Manufacturers). Image indexation Another feature of our module is the possibility to include images into the sitemaps so that Google can index them. It makes your store visible and accessible from Google Image Search, which automatically increases the visibility of your store. Automatic creation (Cron) For each type of sitemaps (Products, Categories, CMS and Manufacturers) and for each store (multistore), the module generates a Cron URL that allows you to generate sitemaps automatically and on a regular basis without having to do anything. You just need to copy and paste these URLs in the free « Crontab for PrestaShop » module that allows you to execute these tasks automatically and on a regular basis. Crontab for PrestaShop: http://www.prestatoolbox.com/free-modules/115-crontab.html Frequency of creation For each type of page, you can specify a different frequency for the creation of sitemaps: permanently, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or never. Submitting sitemaps to Google on a regular basis allows Google to quickly take into account the changes you made on your store. You can also set a priority order for the creation of sitemaps according to the importance of the different types of page (on a scale of 0 to 1). Sitemap creation monitoring The module also provides you with the URLs of the sitemaps so that you can take a look to their content. The sitemaps are in XML format, this is why we recommend you to install the free « XV — XML Viewer » extension for Chrome to display them correctly. Sitemap size Our module can create sitemaps for all sizes of catalogues. We even tried our module with a store that had more than 30.000 products and the sitemaps were generated correctly. When sitemaps are generated automatically from the module interface, the browser window must be kept open. We added indicators that allow you to know the state of progress (in %) and the weight of the sitemap (in %). We also added the configuration option « Number of items per batch » and « Batch process duration (ms) » so that you can adapt the creation of sitemaps to your server performances, in case of the module would require too many ressources. Note: If you use an URL rewriting module other that PrestaShop native module, the URLs of the sitemaps won't be correct. We have recently added new features to the modules and releases a new version (1.2), this is why the content of the video below (v1.1) is slightly different from the new version.
