This module gives you the ability to easily add YouTube and Vimeo videos to your product pages. Fully compatible with responsive themes. Videos are played in a responsive popup window.
This module gives you the ability to easily add YouTube and Vimeo videos to your product pages and display video thumbnails with a fully customisable play button in the product page right and left column, product page footer and even in product page tabs in PrestaShop version 1.5. You can display the latest videos on a home page and in the page left and right column.
Automatically downloads the video thumbnails, but you can add custom thumbnail.
The module administration are in 2 separate place.
1. Add, Update, Delete video for a product:
Admin product edit page has a new tab at the bottom: “Product YouTube / Vimeo Videos”
Here can paste a YouTube or Vimeo video link, automatically downloads the video thumbnail, but you can change that. Give a title and a position.
2. Module configuration:
In Admin -> Modules -> Find “Product YouTube / Vimeo Videos” -> Configure.
There is 3 section: Product page configuration, Column configuration, Home configuration
Each section able to configure
- Block title
- Show / Hide video title
- Play button (color, icon style and color, width, height, rounding, opacity)
- Thumbnail height in percent (%) relative to the width. The width is automatic for the best user experience.
Product page configuration (additional):
- Position of the block (hook): displayLeftColumnProduct, displayRightColumnProduct, displayFooterProduct, displayProductTabContent (PS 1.5)
- Number of videos per row. How many videos display next to each other in a row
Column configuration (additional):
- Enable / Disable left or right column
- Show / Hide product link with name under the video thumbnail.
- Number of videos to display
Home configuration (additional):
- Enable / Disable home block
- Show / Hide product link with name under the video thumbnail.
- Number of videos to display
- Number of videos per row. How many videos display next to each other in a row
